This is where I’ll try to keep track of the various considerations in houses as they develop.

Location:

Ashburn – in Loudoun county. Generally newer houses, but further from everything.

Herndon

Reston – Lots of variance in the city.   Metro’s planned for there, but unlikely to be completed for ~20 years.

Sterling – Have to be aware of airplane flight paths.

Fairfax City – seems like a nice area, close to GMU so good potential for renting out later.

Centreville – newer area, but far off the beaten path.
